Meet Your Pilot
Owner operator and pilot Jon Sattler holds FAA Part 107 certification, APSA BPERP certification, and Level 1 UAS Thermography certification, plus FEMA National Incident Management System (NIMS) training through the National Disaster & Emergency Management University. In addition to being a Clemson Drone Academy graduate, he also has an undergraduate degree from University of Southern California and an International MBA from the University of South Carolina. Yes, both USCs.
Jon speaks Chinese, Japanese, French, Spanish and “Southern” on occasion. He is enjoys playing soccer and is a passionate teacher of skiing and para hockey to people with disabilities, including volunteering every year at events for disabled veterans in Colorado and North Carolina.
